It provides guidance on every aspect of human existence, from social, economic, and political systems to personal behavior and ethics. However, in the face of modernity, Islam has encountered a number of challenges, ranging from the status of women to the question of religious authority. In this essay, I will examine the challenges that Islam has faced in the modern era and suggest an agenda for the 21st century.
- One of the major challenges that Islam has faced is the issue of modernity and globalization. The modern world is characterized by rapid change, technological advancements, and an increasing focus on individualism. This has led to a clash between traditional Islamic values and the values of modern society. Muslims are struggling to find a balance between their religious traditions and the demands of modernity.
